BAL HARBOUR

Welcome to Bal Harbour

The epitome of luxury shopping, dining, and hotels in an idyllic setting on the Miami Beach peninsula

Bal Harbour is a neighborhood located on a barrier island in Miami-Dade County, Florida, and received its name after the bay nestled along its northern side. The neighborhood is known for its upscale eateries, luxury hotels, and Bal Harbour Shops, a high-end outdoor mall. The locale is also popular for its pristine beaches and clear turquoise waters.

The majority of homes in Bal Harbour are luxury condominiums and apartments, although there are a few single-family homes and mansions. Many of the village's condominiums were designed by famous architects, such as Morris Lapidus and Charles Gwathmey. Bal Harbour's mansions are typically located on the water and feature private docks and swimming pools.

Bal Harbour has a rich history. Originally founded in the early 1900s as a resort town, this stunning oceanside oasis wasn’t incorporated into a village until 1946. In the early 2000s, Bal Harbour underwent a major redevelopment project that saw the construction of new luxury condominiums, hotels, and shops, setting the pace for its modernization and transforming the community into a thriving town.
